Contest Basics

1. What is the Cash Giveaway Contest?
By joining the Aegis waitlist, you’re automatically enrolled in a referral contest. Earn cash prizes and or a chance to win an Apple Watch by inviting friends to sign up for early access. The more referrals you get, the higher your leaderboard rank!
2. How do I participate?
Use your unique referral link to invite friends. Each friend who signs up via your link counts toward your total referrals and boosts your leaderboard position.
3. When does the contest end?
The contest closes on midnight April 1st, 2025  (UTC -05:00).  
4. Who is eligible?
You must be a U.S. resident, 18+ years old, and comply with all contest rules. Employees of Aegis and their families are ineligible.

5. How are referral Sign Ups counted?
A referral Sign Up is counted when a friend signs up for the waitlist using your unique URL. Duplicate or fake accounts will be disqualified.

6. Is there a referral Sign Up limit?
No! Invite as many friends as you want—the more referrals, the higher your chances to win.

7. Do referred Sign Ups need to meet requirements?
Yes. referred Sign Ups must provide valid email addresses and be U.S. residents aged 18+.

8. How do I check my ranking?
Visit the Rewards Leaderboard (https://www.aegisapp.io/rewards) to track your progress in real time.

9. How often is the leaderboard updated?
Rankings are refreshed every 24 hours.

12. How are winners notified?
Winners will be contacted via email within 7 days of the contest closing. Prizes will be sent after identity verification.

13. How are cash prizes delivered?
Cash prizes are paid via a Visa Gift Card in the amount that you have won.. The Apple Watch will be shipped to your U.S. address.

14. Are prizes taxable?
No!  You can keep what you win without reporting taxes as the top prize is $500. U.S. law states that only prizes over $600 require an IRS Form 1099.
